Overview
HandyPJC ("the App") is developed by Pisces Studio. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
HandyPJC is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
The App stores the following data locally on your device:
- Projector configurations — names, IP addresses, and port numbers of your projectors
- Authentication credentials — PJLink passwords stored securely in the iOS Keychain
- Group settings — projector group names and assignments
- App preferences — such as scan timeout settings
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync, your projector configurations and group settings are synced across your devices using Apple's CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud container and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
Network Access
The App communicates with projectors on your local network using the PJLink protocol (TCP port 4352). This communication happens entirely within your local area network and does not pass through any external servers.
The App uses your device's camera solely for scanning IP addresses from labels or displays. Camera images are processed on-device and are never stored or transmitted.
Third-Party Services
HandyPJC uses the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob — We display advertisements via Google AdMob. Google may collect and use data to serve personalised ads. You can review Google's Privacy Policy for more details. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings.
- Apple StoreKit (In-App Purchases) — We offer a "HandyPJC Pro" in-app purchase to unlock premium features and remove ads. Purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
All data is stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud container (if enabled). You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the App.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is a professional tool intended for use by AV professionals and facility managers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
