Connecting to a projector
Connect your Android device and projector to the same local network. Enable PJLink or network control on the projector and check its IP address and PJLink password. If discovery fails, check for guest Wi-Fi or client isolation and try entering the IP address if your app version offers manual setup.
Compatibility, features, and ads
Check Google Play for device compatibility and the features of your installed Android version. The iOS instructions below for Apple Watch, iCloud, and Pro purchases do not apply to Android. Advertising availability depends on the installed version.

Include your Android version, device model, HandyPJC version, projector model, and the steps that caused the problem. Please omit passwords and other private information.

What is PJLink?
PJLink is a standard protocol for controlling projectors over a network. Many projectors from manufacturers such as Epson, Panasonic, NEC, and Sony support PJLink Class 1 or Class 2. HandyPJC supports both classes; available commands and maintenance information depend on the projector model.
My projector is not found during network scan
On the Home screen, tap ＋, then Network Scan. Make sure your iPhone or iPad and projector are on the same local network, Local Network permission is enabled for HandyPJC, client isolation is disabled on Wi-Fi, and PJLink or Network Control is enabled on the projector. You can also choose ＋ > Add Projector to enter the IP address manually.
I get an "Authentication Failed" error
Your projector requires a PJLink password. HandyPJC tries common default passwords automatically, but if your projector uses a custom password, you'll need to enter it manually. Go to the projector's edit screen and set the correct password.
How do I run a scene quickly?
Pin the scene in its editor. It will appear under Pinned Scenes on the iPhone or iPad Home screen and in the HandyPJC Apple Watch app. Tap the scene, review any confirmation, then choose Run. Keep the paired iPhone reachable while running a scene from Apple Watch.
Why does Apple Watch not show my latest scene?
Confirm the scene is pinned, then open HandyPJC on the iPhone once to refresh Watch data. Keep Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled and make sure the Watch app is installed. Apple Watch sends commands through the paired iPhone; it does not connect directly to projectors.
How do image blanking and audio mute work?
They are independent controls. Blank Image hides the projected image without powering the projector off; Restore Image shows it again. Mute Audio and Unmute Audio control projector audio when the model supports it.
What do Ready, Warning, Failed, and Unknown mean?
Ready means the projector responded normally. Warning indicates a reported device or maintenance warning. Failed means the check could not complete, for example because the device was offline or authentication failed. Unknown means there is no recent result. Tap the shield button on Home, then run Inspect All to refresh the venue.
Can I control projectors remotely (outside my network)?
HandyPJC communicates directly with projectors over your local area network. Controlling projectors from outside your network requires VPN access to the same network where your projectors are connected.
How do I delete all my data?
Delete projectors in HandyPJC first so their saved PJLink passwords are removed from Keychain, then uninstall the App to remove its local database and preferences. If iCloud sync is active, you can separately manage the App's private iCloud data from your Apple Account and iCloud storage settings.
How do I remove ads?
Purchase HandyPJC Pro from Settings. This one-time purchase removes ads and unlocks unlimited projectors, groups, scenes, Apple Watch, health checks, and maintenance tools. If you already purchased Pro, choose Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account.
